Morning all:

LINDYBIRD: I haven't heard of Inset Days. I think they may be called Staff Development or Professional Development days here, at least in some places. I hear complaints that actual teaching suffers due to the demands of administrative paperwork and meeting various state-required criteria. I do know the kids like them! As for holidays, I imagine the teachers are enjoying the time off too. :-) Trump can certainly boast about the highest number of resignations/departures during his so-called Administration.

AQ: History Festival months sounds perfect for you. Hope you're planning lots more outings (perhaps they'll extend it to June?)

Whoa, OG!! - what a visitor! did he/she catch anything in your garden?

Hi Eagle-eye, when you pick your photo and it is in the box, just change the numbers in the two boxes above, some say 500 in each, others 500 in left and nothing in right and visa versa. Bigger if you want, but what I find when using my iPad, which is all the time, if they are too big they take longer to load and it slows everything down.

I have my halo on, as I walked into the town for a couple of things which wouldn't wait until tomorrow, including returning the red shoes
Lovely sunshine and I enjoyed looking into other people's gardens to see what is blooming. When I got home I put my feet up for a bit, but this afternoon I planted some bedding into big pots and did a little pruning and weeding. The weeding wasn't on the schedule, but when I looked into the borders I was shocked to see the size of some of them, they must have been enjoying the rain we had recently.

OG: That is some visitor! Great photos.

Hey, it worked!  That was our Forsythia before Easter = OH must have pruned it well, as it was flowering evenly from top to bottom.
