Hi everyone, got the date right today.
Its been a day of lots of activity , fish deliveries, flying practice and of course going on flyabouts.
As you can see from the pic below we now have "empty nest syndrome" as it looks like Titch has gone to roost elsewhere. Probably in his adventures yesterday he found a nice tree he could roost in for the night and has gone to do so. Nice thought.. Happy viewing to our nght shift. See you all in the morning.

Hi Daisy Ray - forgive me if you've already been told this: In order to post on these pages via the ''insert media'' link, the images need to be .jpg type so if you have a means of changing your Word docs into .jpg files on your computer then you just need to browse to the folder you've put the .jpg s in and click on the image. That will place its ''address'' in the empty bar. Then click on ''insert'' - wait a while till it does insert into (or onto) the ''Reply page'' and then click POST to complete the action and place image on the page.

Lynette, just before it flew off it turned its back to the camera and the back feather did show a juveniles feather edging. Also, I thought ... it just 'looked'' so much 'younger' than EJ :)
Thank you everyone for grabbing what pics you can - each one to treasure now , sigh. ENS someone said - oh yes. Thank you also JSB for all your hard work.
Still an empty nest. We are out to have lunch. Hope there is a little more action to see this afternoon. 'See' you later.
morning/afternoon all.
Feel sad to log on and see and empty nest! although seems like plenty of action this morning. Thanks for all the pics/updates.
Hope LG change the live feed to the other camera soon:) Does anyone have any influence there!! lolol
Very quiet, going to sign off and back later
Heard a noise and came through to see EJ standing on the nest surveying her world ... sounds like Odin chirruping in the background.

Intruder alert. One young one flew in to join her and EJ's shrieking and mantling ... the young one is food soliciting! Now she's flown off!
Brenda H, Alan, Lynette and Cirrus: I am one of those who use spreadsheets for many purposes, so it is one of my hobbies, which is also very useful. Annette's OH is also a speadsheet afficionado, she said. I also have a vested interest in stimulating discussion about migration, from a practical point of view as LG is a long way away, for one to turn up in August, only to find that the birds have flown, quite literally.
Meantime, I have added a wee box about Rothes.

Hi all.
Thank you all so much for your advice re pics and saving etc. I'll try to follow your advice ASAP.
Have had to help OH with the decorating; I said earlier I had to paint the porch. I've managed to do some of it, but been interrupted by a visitor. I felt like EJ - come back to nest for a bit of quiet, and here's a noisy youngster, and there's OH with a fish, and then when I want to tidy the nest with a few new branches the youngsters' help makes the branch go over the side! Sigh!
