Yikes !!! I thought I must have missed it but it's all there waiting for attention :)))
Thank you, everyone, for the super captures and info :)
I can't believe they arrived together - but they did! ;-D
Three matings altogether, only the first successful, IMHO. They were on the nest nearly 13 minutes, this is cut down to 5 but no significant activity missing - you know how they like to stand and (males) mantle and (females) look a bit nonplussed ;)
UNCUT VERSION:
The first was the best ;)

IMAGICAT
Both George and Liz on Friends of Loch Arkaig Ospreys FB say that usually the nest is sheltered from the prevailing SW winds, but the winds over the past few days have been from the E. Possibly the platform (about a mile away) they have been seen on is currently more sheltered. To my mind this has been their chosen nest, and given the traumas they have suffered on it over the past few years I feel it would have to take a lot to make them move permanently. Perhaps that platform is where Aila disappeared to a few days ago, when she went missing? Who knows! It was nice to see them working in synch too

They must have heard us talking about them!! lol
My dejected scrolling thru the night and morning was suddenly rewarded by their appearance at around 10:30 - this is not edited cos I have Windows Updates and network sullenness stopping me getting on >:(
Louis arrived with a fish-tail:
She didn't co-operate, none of Louis's attempts succeeded, whether due to wind or...
He brought in a large trailing clump!
SHEENA laughed:
They must have heard us talking about them!!
I've just twigged that you got that from roll-back, SHEENA ;-D So I didn't miss a return, one less thing to fret over ;)
Aila on the nest shouting......there's a surprise!
