Yikes !!! I thought I must have missed it but it's all there waiting for attention :)))
Thank you, everyone, for the super captures and info :)
I can't believe they arrived together - but they did! ;-D
Three matings altogether, only the first successful, IMHO. They were on the nest nearly 13 minutes, this is cut down to 5 but no significant activity missing - you know how they like to stand and (males) mantle and (females) look a bit nonplussed ;)
UNCUT VERSION:
The first was the best ;)
He sat here for ages after his second nestcupping:

IMAGICAT
This is the post that Liz made, with some information about FS1 and also FS2.... Always nice to get information about the ringed birds that land or intrude on the nests we watch.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Thank you for passing that on, MARY :) I wonder why it's not included in UK Ospreys? Hopefully this will be a heads-up :)
My LA recording stopped @ 12:12 because the hard drive overflowed and I didn't notice due to other nests
Therefore I haven't got Louis bringing a FISH and not letting Aila have it, even tho this time she tried. Well, that's what I think I saw. Double-dang!
Recorded off roll-back so no timeline.
She actually took the fish and he grabbed it back! If you see it differently, please say.
Louis brought back the fish and Aila took it without difficulty and flew off - see her shadow turn and meander back towards us:
Someone on Facebook commented several days ago that Aila was a "scaredy-cat" and I do think of her as being rather timid. Remember how she was unable to be really aggressive -vs- the Pine Marten last season. It will be interesting to see how she develops and I wish her very well indeed :-*
