• Marilyn, you will have to go into your settings, click your picture in the circle, far top right, go to settings and tick or unstick your choices, then go to the end tab callled notifications and tick or untick  your choices. I have everything in the right hand columns all ticked and I get no emails, just notifications in the orange circle at the top, beside your picture, then to save, at the bottom of page.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  • I knew would get an egg soon Such a lovely couple Congeatualations Mrs G and Aran
Thanks for all the lovely posts and captures especially of the egg and your great (as usual) video SCYLLA
Mrs G incubating Now up and tiding the nestcup
  • This is just a token snap of dear MrsG, who has been steadfast on her egg since I first looked in early this morning.  I haven't had time to follow, haven't caught sight of Aran but that doesn't mean he wasn't here.

    See y'all lay-tahhh ;)

  • YouTube says "Live Stream Offline"... it happened not long ago.
  • Recovered! MrsG still incubating. I'll have a check for some happy activity since morning :)
  • Oh heck!  What have I done?!  Made lots of work, that's what :o

    The day at Glaslyn

(I accidentally deleted the early morning and cannot recover it cos it's permanent when I delete  across the network Disappointed  Half-way thru I realised I'd didn't understand the software I was using and that the glariness was my fault.

Edit - Massive tactical error not resizing these so they've been tinified by the system - they all expand a lot, if you can be bothered to click and wait, oh dang.)

Therefore we start with Aran incubating very early!  Did he bring an ultra-early fish?  Cos I was getting very worried, going thru the day.

    MrsG looming to take over:

If there was no ultra-early delivery, then MrsG was waiting a long time - and she did look anxious:

    Just Aran ;-*

MrsG brought back some fish for Aran but the cam zoomed onto egg:

    Aran took fish to tree:

    Another splodgology shot:

MrsG went after a threat, which lasted under 2 mins and I couldn't see anyone when the cam looked around:

    And another... !!!

Second fish (that I have on record):

    Taken to perch:

    A flyabout:

    And return:

Can't wait any longer for MrsG to look this way for a live "goodnight" snap:

Well that was a learning curve, some things are now under my belt but must find a shortcut for resizing without altering colours etc.)

  • Thanks Scylla, lovely overviewof the day. I am in love with this egg, such pretty spots!

2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!

  • Mrs G sitting tight but she does glance over her shouler every now and again towards us
  • Arran arrives with a fish. Mrs G is quick to take it and flies to the perch to eat as Arran settles on the egg.
    Approx. 5 minutes ago.
  • Good start to the day and thank you Patily and Mike (I do hope this thread remains sensible)
