Amazing what can happen when the sun shines.

Congratulations to MrsG and Aran - no trouble, Aran standing by but uninterested as yet (I have to find last year's video of him insisting on incubating):

MrsG is in no hurry to settle down to incubating.

Aran started shifting sticks and being a nuisance, see how his tail end interferes ;)  Eventually he gave up and flew off.

 

I had to stop watching when Aran was doing that because I thought he was going to drop one of those huge sticks onto the egg. A bit nerve jangling!
