Good morning Karen, beautiful start to the day there.

Ps I hope your eye is improving.

33 has just now returned, he is looking wet but no fish. No doubt he'll try again soon.

He is nudging Maya no doubt wanting on the eggs :-D but Maya is staying put. 33 has now flown and hopefully will soon return with breakfast.

Great that Maya has laid yet another egg Hope they all survive and if there are no mishaps I'm sure this pair would manage to raise them

Yes it is good news and I too think they will manage and that 33 will be able to provide for them.. But it will still be a hard task especially with 9 days difference between the first and last chick. If all hatch/survive, which I hope they do, I just hope the eldest chick has a nice temperament for that will help .

I was thinking the same Karen, the oldest chick will be much bigger let’s hope it’s not too much of a bully, I feel I will be shouting “stop it” all summer long.

Jane, yes and I think many times we will be holding our breaths.

Also it will be interesting to see if 33 will help out with the feeding. On a couple occasions in the past I have thought that he was just about to try but Maya always appeared to step in as if to say "I'll do that". If there are 4 mouths to feed, it certainly would help.

I think there has been a nest where they have successfully raised 4 chicks, I will have to have a delve in the forum.
