I see your dot SCYLLA, so know you will be doing day cam, but just want to post another pic to compare and see if they turn out the same size,

Unbelievable Scylla, back to postage stamp size and nothing different, exact same size of photo what is going on.....      Weird it looks small in edit mode, then posts big.   I give up 

Bird Feeder thread a great idea Scylla but surely not among Osprey threads. Isn't there a Wildlife page that Barn owls and butterflies and so on have threads? I would think that would be a better place for it. Click on Wildlife on top of page and see what you think. :)

Does the nest look as tho it's had someone weighty on it, flattening the grass in places?

I very rarely venture out of Loch Garten Ospreys Group either SCYLLA.   

Seeing as there has been a long running Non Osprey thread already in the group I would think a thread for the Feeder Cam wouldn’t be a problem, however it really has to be a Group decision,

Have to say I am not bothered one way or the other, but I think no decision should be made until more people say what they would like.

Cirrus, in principle you are right BUT practically, with this new site, it is a pain!

I post on the Sussex Barn Owl site. OK access is easy via the RSPB logo at the top of the page. BUT if you then find the thread, possibly on page two, post and then want to return to our Forum there is no easy way that I know of so you are left clicking 'return' a few times as it goes back page by page. What a palaver.

The old system had a link to take you to straight back to the Forum which was great.

Either I haven't cracked this new site.....has anyone???!!!....or it needs looking at. I have asked IT about this by the way.

I'm not sure how much viewing the feeder cam will get as clearly it is a new venture having the option of both.

I'd suggest we retain the Feeder Cam thread on here and see how it goes this season.

Like most things on here Cirrus we are all trying to find a way to make it work and the results seem to come only by trial, error and experience!
I could mention photo's …..but I wont! LOL
