Some history of the BALGAVIES LOCH OSPREYS.
It is a SWT Nature Reserve near Forfar, Angus, Scotland. There is no webcam on the nest, and there is no Visitor Centre, only a small Hide with limited car parking spaces.

He has been sighted several times in the Eden Estuary and also Balgavies in the last few years

Darren sent me some beautiful photographs last night of a nest on private land in an undisclosed location in Angus. He knew of this nest last year also, so its good to see that the pair made it back.

I just love his photo's Starling, considering the distance he is away from the nest, both here and Balgavies, I think they are astonishing. :-)

You can just guess the inscription if you magnify a bit, but I'm wondering who the Osprey framed at Loch of Kinnordy might be if not our dear Green BF.

Thank You Roberto for posting this..... I think we can safely say it would be Green BF as he is known to fish at Kinnordy, as well as Roscobie and Montrose Basin, he gets around.
