Some history of the BALGAVIES LOCH OSPREYS.
It is a SWT Nature Reserve near Forfar, Angus, Scotland. There is no webcam on the nest, and there is no Visitor Centre, only a small Hide with limited car parking spaces.

Thanks everyone for your very generous comments
Darren sent me the photo of the fish disappearing down the Heron's throat, who would believe a fish as big as that could go down a narrow (obviously expanding) neck LOL...
Some photos of MRS. GREEN BF taken the other night.
And a wee video - its nice to see her up close like this, its like webcam viewing LOL - so my grateful thanks to Darren for doing this, hope he does some videoing when the chicks start popping there heads up too

Yes Darren is so generous sharing his photographs, and very humble too, he is his own worse critic (to me) though and I have never ever seen a bad photo come from him.
I love Balgavies as it is so special, only a small hide, but has a diligent Warden keeping his eye over the Reserve, he loves a good blether, as do the local people who visit, they are so proud of having the Ospreys there. I am intending to squeeze in another visit later on in the year when hoping all goes well and the chicks hatch.

Balgavies was featured on "Landward" last night, a nice wee clip about the geese, and they used one of Darren's photo's too.
If you go to 20 minutes after the start of the show, that is where it is featured.
