Some history of the BALGAVIES LOCH OSPREYS.
It is a SWT Nature Reserve near Forfar, Angus, Scotland. There is no webcam on the nest, and there is no Visitor Centre, only a small Hide with limited car parking spaces.

He has been sighted several times in the Eden Estuary and also Balgavies in the last few years

It is hard to be positive about the nest now, all I hope is that Green BF is alright and hasn't come to any harm.

I feel a huge sadness tonight, just heartbreaking.
So sorry Mary, so awful for this to happen, in a way I'm glad there is no webcam, I would hate to be watching this play out. x

Darren sent me the photo of Mrs. Green BF hiding in the trees. She must be wondering what is going on. We will just have to wait and see what happens next.
