Some history of the BALGAVIES LOCH OSPREYS.
It is a SWT Nature Reserve near Forfar, Angus, Scotland. There is no webcam on the nest, and there is no Visitor Centre, only a small Hide with limited car parking spaces.

There was an Osprey on the Balgavies nest yesterday, but with no webcam there is no way of knowing if it is the resident unringed female. No sign of Green BF yet.
There has been Greylag geese on the nest as well, which is not good news as they took over the nest in 2010 and 2011. So I am hoping Green BF gets back soon.
Lorraine Culloch has sent us some cracking photos of the Osprey from yesterday.

I guess we will find out in the next couple of days if it is Mrs Green BF
Fantastic news GREEN BF is back, but the Greylags are still on the nest - hope he can evict them.

I am over the moon he is back Starling, he is a favourite of mine, now all we need is EJ back and we can all go to bed with big smles on our face and heave a big sigh of relief.
Can’t do posh link to last post yesterday, but it looks like the Greylag geese are putting up a fight for the nest.
