Hi everyone, Thanks for all your posts and pics yesterday, they were great. And thanks to all who posted clips of the goings on etc.
Annette, you said you may not make it on tonight because of personal committments,, hopefully we'll see you at some time during the course of today.
Its been a day of complete misery insomuch as the weather situation. A day of rain mostly although it has cleared up tonight. Lots of comings and goings and they kept us all amused.
Happy viewing to our night shift and to the early morning bloggers as well.
I'll leave you with two pics taken round about 11.45pm last night on the next post.

Definitely different voices ... and nobody else shrieks with delight the way Youngest does :-)))

8 wow, Lindy that's back up to 'get em grown up level'. How can they be hungry. Odin I give you a distinction. spledid boy.
If the other two worked as a team, in a pincer movement from either side, they could probably ambush Eldest and get the fish !!!!
Ha ha Djoan - unfortunately I rather think programming may kick in ( this time I mean it for real - not as a joke cos EJ kept dragging the fish around to feed the kids 'in bed' - I'm harping back to the Trolls accusation ) . I mean that, if Eldest starting pecking etc just cos it was first hatched and dominate I think the other two would back down in submission. Pincer movement though . Yeah, I like it . Youngest can look really sneaky at times.
Yes, Cirrus, if food were scarce and they were hungry it would definitely be pecking order and submission, as we saw a bit last year.
EDIT - in fact this year, the first couple of times a fish was delivered after Eldest learned to feed himself, he was quite aggressive!
Hi everyone. Thanks for all the brilliantly informative and entertaining posts and all the beautiful pics. All fantasic. Those pics of the youngest's near miss on trying to land certainly had my eyes just about poppong out my head and the words: "Gosh! that looks scary." flew out at roughly the speed of Osprey. Although, I don't think I said "gosh" ;-) Thanks for posting those pics OGHeading up to Dunkeld tommorow for the weekend, with my dad. So I'll be visiting LotL and also hope to get up to LG. The thought of seeing Ospreys in person is sort of making me feel like a five year old on Christmas Eve but I love wildlife. If I can get any decent pics I'll post them in the appropriate threads.Just read the poem from Caberfeidh on the Main Blog. Thanks for the heads up Alan. Great poem and I love the names. Lightning, Thunder, and Rainbow are fantastic names for Ospreys and I feel those names should stick. :-)Thanks for the fish count Linda. Oh well 8 fish is quite a g... EIGHT FISH!? Well I shouldn't be surprised really. Odin & EJ are Super Ospreys.Enough of my blethering. Here's a pic from about 15 minutes ago.
Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Well, they definitely have all had plenty to eat today. Nice too that the wind & rain stopped for once.
I'm off now, see you tomorrow. 'Bye
Intruder alert ... Eldest and Youngest hurling abuse at it!!
Night Linda!
''If I can get any decent pics I'll post them in the appropriate threads.'' Yes please Paul and thanks for the capture you just posted.
Hi Paul. I too am planning a trip to LOTL this weekend, probably Saturday even though the weather looks better for Sunday. Lucky you heading up to LG too. Hope you have a brilliant time.
