Hi everyone, Thanks for all your posts and pics yesterday, they were great. And thanks to all who posted clips of the goings on etc.
Annette, you said you may not make it on tonight because of personal committments,, hopefully we'll see you at some time during the course of today.
Its been a day of complete misery insomuch as the weather situation. A day of rain mostly although it has cleared up tonight. Lots of comings and goings and they kept us all amused.
Happy viewing to our night shift and to the early morning bloggers as well.

Trish 2 was interested in what you say about your birds in the garden. It is the same here I have had to start rationing them as it is costing an absolute fortune. I load 2 trays up in the morning which they make short work of and then I always leave out another 2 trays at night so they have something first thing. I used to keep topping it up everytime it was empty. Obviously they knock a lot on the ground so they have to make do and eat that first. we have lots of sparrows, dunnocks, starlings who are the greediest little devils. Blue tits, a pair of collared doves, wood pigeons, loads of them and robins. We are spending nearly as much on their food as we do ours. Usually at this time of the year they leave to forage for themselves but it has not happened yet.
it is so good to see the sun shining again at LG after all the rain and high winds. Nest empty at the moment a sight we will have to get used to more and more.
Thanks for the fish list Lindybird and Odin has been a busy boy today. Well done to Odin from me as well.
I presume this is Titch returning to the nest with a shriek of joy!

Still an empty nest. Looks like a beautiful evening for practising those flying skills.
Thanks to all for all the pics and commentary since I was doing other things, cooking dinner etc. Going to say goodnight now so have a good evening all and back tomorrow but not for long unfortunately as I am going out for dinner with somebody I used to work with and we always have a good old chat.
Fish delivery. Bit of a tiddler but the disadvantage of watching this lot is the proximity to the loch means the fish are still very much alive when they are dropped on the nest as this one was. Now of course the fishless chick is most unhappy.
