Hi everyone, Thanks for all your posts and pics yesterday, they were great. And thanks to all who posted clips of the goings on etc.
Annette, you said you may not make it on tonight because of personal committments,, hopefully we'll see you at some time during the course of today.
Its been a day of complete misery insomuch as the weather situation. A day of rain mostly although it has cleared up tonight. Lots of comings and goings and they kept us all amused.
Happy viewing to our night shift and to the early morning bloggers as well.
I'll leave you with two pics taken round about 11.45pm last night on the next post.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
There's a right racket going on, the one who has just flown in, could be Middle, has taken the left over piece of fish and is tackling it. Might even be Greedy Guts.Titch just ignores him and carries on doing what he was doing, sitting on the edge of the nest looking at the world around him.
Here is my promised photo of #3's bad landing on Tuesday morning - on the front of the nest in front of EJ.
Here it is further enlarged - but obviously definition is not so good.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Whoever was eating the fish has had terrible trouble trying to eat the tail ... but managed it at last ... well done that bird!!

Who just flew off? I'm totally confused!
OG - great photograph ... but poor Titch ... he must have got an awful fright ... just like the people watching!
The one that was eating the remains of the fish flew off ... but don't ask me to ID it :-))

Yikes!! That could have been a disaster . Thanks for posting this . I saw it happen from the nest camera view. When he slipped and missed the nest I thought he just kept flying to make another attempt at landing. I had no idea this is what happened . The main blog said he lost his grip and started falling to the ground. He was able to right himself just as he went out of camera range. Gald I was not watching this . I would have passed out from fright

Odin just arrived with a fish, snatched by ?
EJ flies in closely followed by Odin with a fish 09.36 .... EJ grabs the fish.
They're great photo's original goldfinch.
It looks like there's been a fish delivery and EJ is hanging on to it, whilst Titch is soliciting for food. EJ now feeding him. Someone, could it be Odin, has just flown off
