Good Morning SCYLLA I see Laddie is already guarding his nest and the wind still blowing fiercely

I wonder what directions he's looking in so steadfastly?

Went to RF and couldn't see how to post a picture and clicked on some icons and pic suddenly appeared......don't know how and I hadn't even got around to selecting an image??????

Just popped to the kitchen ad Laddie is back by the nestcup on my return.  Did he bring a stick?...

No, he brought a small fuzzy clump, not clearly snappable.

He's done a bit of stick-shitfing, nothing much, now just waiting again.

I'm hoping this will C&P from Manton Bay where I misposted it!

When they're nestcupping you try to get the full face, the fantail and the wingtips all at their best, but it rarely can be achieved ;)

And when they're facing away, it's the perky fantail and kicky feet ;)

Now he's flown and left the nestcup in a bit of a mess:

Out and back with a stick (underfoot here):

 

Then just standing watching.
