I thought I'd start a new thread for Aberfoyle. Especially for Sandra (other dedicated Aberfoyle watchers are also available).
Here's the link to last year's thread.
Clarach and her beau both arrived on 15 April last year. Here's the countdown clock (from Pete Dee's site)
Clarach arrived back at her nest on 10 April 2019
You're welcome Patily 15:17 (15:07 cam time) A bird flew off rather quickly from above the cam (lots of juddering) and down to the right, out of view. Hard to tell if it was an Osprey or not, no snap unfortunately
The camera is off. I've still not managed to see Clarach live on the nest so thanks for all snaps. Her mate is now 4 days overdue
That's slightly concerning but hoping he's still on his way. I do wish she'd appear on cam while you're watching Korky! Pleased that Clarach is still keeping tabs on her nest though, she's probably just as impatient as we are
Now the cam is offline, I thought I'd post some more shots of the ringed visitor who was on the nest prior to Clarach's landing, just for any ID purposes - it stayed for around 40 minutes
A visible blue darvic, left leg; BTO on the right leg
Did a crop drop...
Preening...
Before leaving...
The view of the nest did improve considerably this afternoon
