I thought I'd start a new thread for Aberfoyle. Especially for Sandra (other dedicated Aberfoyle watchers are also available).
Here's the link to last year's thread.
Clarach and her beau both arrived on 15 April last year. Here's the countdown clock (from Pete Dee's site)
Clarach arrived back at her nest on 10 April 2019
Very good going Sandra ! Well, I hope it's Clarach and thanks Korky fr the reminder that her mate is due back today.
Thanks Cirrus I can make out a ring on its right leg, in the last pics, but unsure if it's a blue Darvic or BTO metal one
Auto corrected a few times. Could it possibly be Clarach? Looking at the depth of the ring

One on the nest, possibly unringed
About to fly away, legs just off the nest
Ye gods! you've better eyesight than me Sandra. It is good to at least see a bird shape on the nest. What awful weather here. Will it ever clear (rhetorical question.
Lol. when checking again, arrow marking is in between both legs. The other side, to the left, was a small, white stick :)
Hoping the condensation in the lens clears asap
Ha ha! You're welcome Sheena :)
Apologies, I found these three screen caps late last night, taken yesterday, of the Osprey prior to its fly away (inadvertently saved elsewhere!). It does appear to be unringed
One on the nest, if the same bird, this was its 2nd visit to the nest today
First brief visit
A minute or so after
It moved to a more convenient part of the nest
Left leg (blue?) darvic ring
Close up
BTO ring(?) right leg
Fly away
I also had a screen shot from the visit this morning. I didn’t see the left leg, but it seemed to me like a BTO ring on the right leg.
