I thought I'd start a new thread for Aberfoyle. Especially for Sandra (other dedicated Aberfoyle watchers are also available).
Here's the link to last year's thread.
Clarach and her beau both arrived on 15 April last year. Here's the countdown clock (from Pete Dee's site)
Clarach arrived back at her nest on 10 April 2019

Lol Korky!
From The Lodge VC fb - nest abandoned?
Here
Agreed Korky, what a terrible season so far. I have confidence about Loch Arkaig, the egg that eventually turned out to be Lachlan in 2017 was left exposed for much longer than five hours. We (hopefully) shouldn't have too long to wait as the first egg arrived on 23 April. Ian
EDIT - we could add Caerlaverock to the list of bad things this year, I recall that the camera nest there has also been abandoned.
Kind regards, Ann
Can't believe what is happening this year, so wanted this nest and Clarach/male to be successful this year, it is certainly turning out to be one of those "annus horribilis" years.

I can't believe this either, such sad news

Not sure if this video on Facebook has been posted already. From yesterday - ''no action on nest".
'Footage taken this morning at 11am. No sign of Clarach on the nest when we turned on the camera at 10.20am. Still no sign of her or male at 12.55pm. We'll keep watching and keep things updated as best we can.'
