HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
Annette: Still cold, but more normal temps now. To conserve energy and stay warm during the polar vortex, the birds and other wildlife had all found protected places and remained as unmoving as possible. Now they're all coming out to frantically feed. I feel sorry for them. I'll be back later to start the new thread.
Miri's first Snowman - called Parsley.
Now I've done that one, I will consider trying others - don't think you've seen her wee brother yet! (OG)
The woodchuck did not see his shadow this Groundhog Day, and tradition says that means spring is on the way, as opposed to six more weeks of winter.
Alan: I surely do hope that little fella is correct! LOL Nice to see you.
Nice pic of Miri, OG! We've had photos on Facebook of various younger members of our family with snowmen, although none from Tomasz, as I don't think they had enough snow in Birmingham district!
Just been out to replenish the bird feeders, even though I put stuff out first thing today!
OG: What a sweetheart!! And how cute is Parsley! :-)) Did she name him?
Alan: Thanks for the news - most appreciated I'm sure by folks who have actual winters. Hope you're keeping well.
Diane: Hope your critters can find something to chew on - any old pizza around your house?
Our storm arrived later than predicted - and as I'm typing, winds are very strong indeed and we seem to have been knocked offline - lights are flashing too. All our power thingies are in the foothills, where the wind is strongest. So basically, no idea when or if if this will post!
