I hope the new nesting platform last longer than this one, the base rotted away and had to be removed.
I have just signed up for nest-watching from March and chick-monitoring from July for my second volunteering season. I hope the weather is kinder to us this year than in 2018!

Good news, Alison, and best wishes for your experience this year. Fingers crossed that this will be a less traumatic and more successful season than last year. Also, hoping we do not have a similar heat wave as last year. That must have played a large part in last year's results.
