The lady is Helen Dixon, then the Project Leader and it was she and her colleague who persuaded me help out the following year in 1997.

My Tim Mackrill book has just arrived. Quick flick through and lovely to see so many photos of nests, ospreys and people I’m familiar with in the world of ospreyitus. New stuff about differences in birds from different continents. Section about Rothiemurchus who....is still out there...somewhere? Stan, Fiddich, so many I remember. For a jolly good read shortly!

Mine flew in today too, and as Korky, a quick flip thru looks interesting. An RSPB series. Lots of opportunities to guess on which bird and which nest!

Patily. I'm guessing it is the one Tim did a while ago and is advertised on the Rutland website??
I'm not aware of a newer one.
