Hi everyone and a very warm welcome to all new bloggers and especially to Judy Teen, whom I didn't mean to be rude about but unfortunately it looked like it in an earlier post of mine yesterday.
Well what a day its been, first Titch looked like going then an intruder alert or something and he bottled it, then we were watching all afternoon and lo and behold when one isn't watching, HE GOES AND DOES IT - FLIES - Whoopeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. There are links on yesterdays blog for the lift of if anyone missed it.
What will today bring, will he get bolder and show his skills off - lets hope so. Such a precious moment when he did it and in fact when they all did it.
He is alone at present, on the nest. No doubt his siblings are around and probably roosting nearbye.
Over to the night shift and happy viewing. See you all in the morning.

All gone quiet, siesta time.
Must go and do other things, back later on to catch up. Its been a mixed day of entertainment and quietness, but all in a day's life of an osprey family.
What a wonderful days viewing its been, titch put on a great show for us earlier with all his take off's and landing's. The one in the morning about 11.30 was funny, the poor wee thing missed the nest at his first attempt at landing and had to circle round to try again, he made it the second time :o) EJ was on the nest at the time and got quite a fright when he clattered past the camera post and had to keep flying. He's getting the hang of it now :o) All that flying must have made him hungry coz he scoffed a good bit of that afternoon fish!
Well done to all at LG for protecting these amazing birds, you must all be very proud.
Thanks for all pics, videos and posts, great reading as always :o)
New blog from Caroline.
EJ on nest and alarm calling yet again
Thanks Alan
Thanks Alan, just read the new blog, didn't realise titch's failed landing was that dramatic! Feel bad now for laughing at the poor wee thing, sorry titch!!
It was lovely to see all 5 on the nest earlier, don't suppose we'll see that many more times this season.
EJ has left the nest and #2 & #3 are hunkered down as the rain begins to fall again.
Thanks Alan for the post about the New Blog.
just read the new blog - pleased we could not see Titch's poor landing and near fall - great reports and pics again, huge thanks, i have been stuck in the bedroom decorating all day - but got a sneaky peak at the blog a couple of times!! Titch on the nest home alone :-( i am pleased i am not the only one who has a soft spot for him! xxx
