Hi everyone and a very warm welcome to all new bloggers and especially to Judy Teen, whom I didn't mean to be rude about but unfortunately it looked like it in an earlier post of mine yesterday.
Well what a day its been, first Titch looked like going then an intruder alert or something and he bottled it, then we were watching all afternoon and lo and behold when one isn't watching, HE GOES AND DOES IT - FLIES - Whoopeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. There are links on yesterdays blog for the lift of if anyone missed it.
What will today bring, will he get bolder and show his skills off - lets hope so. Such a precious moment when he did it and in fact when they all did it.
He is alone at present, on the nest. No doubt his siblings are around and probably roosting nearbye.
Over to the night shift and happy viewing. See you all in the morning.

Judy Teen - I'm sure it wasn't a case of being unwelcoming - we had a 'Troll' on here the other day! My first thought when I saw your initial post was " is this another one?"
Especially for JUDY TEEN when she comes on - I'm sorry if I offended you by saying I'd ignore the post but as DJoanS said yesterday which is above.
Titch home alone . . . but he is wingercising in the dark. LOL
Thanks Lynette:)
Hi AQ.
C3 sleeping on the nest. What a day he's had!
2.46 am and "Titch" has been snoozing quietly on the nest. No drama as far as I can tell.
Morning/evening all! Yeah! Go Titch! Missed the fledge but thanks Alan for the clip. I wonder if it's like jumping off a diving board for the first time? Not that I've ever jumped off a diving board, but I can imagine the trepidation.
jsb: Thanks for stats - you'd get on well with my OH, who would do a spreadsheet for the grocery shopping if I let him.
Margobird: So glad you got to see it "live".
Djoan: Love the pic of #1 and 2 on nest, both on one leg. Wonder if they were doing a jig to celebrate Titch's flight. Funny about the RAF; hope Titch doesn't develop any unrealistic expectations based on their flypast!
Short stuff/ChloeB/Alicat/Watcher1: Thanks for video links!
JudyTeen: I can vouch for Lynette's explanation (above); recent experiences made more than one of us a bit skittish! :-)
OK, must launch the cam now - feel I can relax a bit tonight. Oh and thanks again Lynette for starting yet another thread
Well, Titch was home alone. I was on a call with my granddaughter and saw birds arriving - and leaving. I think all three chicks were on the nest at one time; two left, then the third, but was talking and watching with just one eye so can't say which order then arrived/left.
Somebody just arrived home -oooh - hopped jauntily across the nest to check the view from the other side. Oh and off again. Hmmm. Is the whole evening going to be like this? I can hear one chick calling, but can't see anyone.
LG cam has just gone down. (LOTL cams haven't been working since I logged on this evening. They apparently went down last night when Sandy was on.)
Hm, empty nest syndrome.
I logged in before the day camera was on and Titch was sitting all alone on the nest . He was standing on the edge looking out into the distance
I just came back and the nest is empty . He and the other two are off exploring their new world . We need to adjust to seeing an empty nest. Catching them on the nest will be hit and miss from now on. :(
