Hi everyone, been a bit hit and miss yesterday. Very windy conditions and the youngest almost made it but not quite. I think 4 fish were delivered in total. The wind has died down now and there are two peaceful looking ospreys on the nest Eldest one is probably roosting nearbye. Happy viewing to the night shift, see you all in the morning.

Aaaaaah! Titch - we are all so proud of you, we sent the RAF to honour the day!
Well I'm sorry I missed Titch's first flight but glad for those who saw it. Husband just called tea's ready, back later!
Thanks ChloeB for the videos. I was so lucky to see it live but nice to have something to keep. This is first time I have ever seen a fledge after watching for 3 years. I am thrilled to bits.

Going to say goodnight now as I have spent hours on here today waiting for Titch to fledge and bless him he did it. Hope EJ or Odin will bring a fish for the family now. See you tomorrow.

I did Alan. It would have been brilliant to have been at LG. There was plenty of cheering in this house.
Poor Titch seems to be having a rest. There were none of his family around to watch him.

I'll bet EJ was watching from her tree . If birds have emotions of pride she & Odin are proud parents today . They have successfully raised to fledging 3 healthy and gorgeous Osprey

Ahhh, well done not-so-Titch. I've been watching at work while he tried desperately to leave the nest, not quite having the oomph to do it even when a brother came to show him. When I left at 5 I thought he'd do it before I got on again and when I turned on there he was alone on the nest, but no! A few pages later you all told me he'd been and returned (if a little awkwardly). He seems to be thinking right, that's it until tomorrow now. Thanks for clips and blow-by-blow info, all.
