I'm thinking of the 2019 Osprey Breeding Season, and more specifically how awkward it might be to navigate threads with hundreds of posts. So far, I see that using the reply button at the top of the page puts things in chronological order, as does replying directly to the last post. There is a problem with the latter however. I've noticed that replies to posts don't seem to arrive in emails. So if you (like I often do) use emails to catch up with events after a large gap, this could be problematic during the season I dread to think about navigation of a thread after a major event such as a hatching, or a serious intruder scenario. Of course purely chronological posts would help. Even direct replies could follow the chronology but simply be marked as such. This would make things a lot easier because we get enough excitement during the season, without forum complications.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
