Hallo all: Lots of cruise info on the last two pages of last week's chat.....Hope the new week is kind to all...
Sounds very similar, ANNETTE.
Oh, dear, Heather - the sun has been very bright lately and is low. I found it hard to see a few times. Hope it's not too expensive to fix.
Annette - I do hate to see plants suffer! I would be contemplating creeping over in the dead of night to water it, and my OH would be telling me not to be so silly. I wondered how my neighbour's builders had got on with renovating the bathroom, as she was away: I wouldn't trust them to get on with it without my being there. She had some new guttering put on by a different company, and they leaked and had to be redone!
As you say Heather, I hope that OG is just busy, and not suffering with her back.
Off to put a joint of pork into the oven, we fancied a roast dinner.
ps Have just ordered a large trampoline for our Grandsons' joint birthdays. Hope they don't bang their heads together in their enthusiasm!
I'll have to look up Plumeria, ANNETTE!
Send me roast pork and Apple sauce please, LINDY :-)
It's all gone bar a tiny helping of pork, now, Heather :-) --- We did have apple sauce as my OH loves it with most roasts, and we freeze it in small pots, ready, after dealing with our apple harvest. Also carrots, cauliflower, and (bought) apple & herb stuffing. Boiled spuds as roasted ones are more fattening.
No dessert! But still drinking my glass of white wine and watching "Strictly".
Glad you enjoyed it LINDY! Yes, home made apple sauce - yummy! But, but, no roasties! I wouldn't have got away with that! We only had them once a week, though :-)
We both adore roasties, but are trying to lose the weight we put on, on our indulgent holiday. My OH has done well, he's not eating much bread and neither of us are on puddings or desserts - although I'm sneaking in some pots of yogurt for lunch.
Watching a recording of Gardeners World now. It makes you want to get out there and plant all sorts of things, but then I never spend as much time as I think I will in the garden.
STARTING NEW THREAD
I am sorry to say that we had wall to wall glorious sunshine - not warm however. will try to up date next week. Lets just say that it was a hit for everyone!
