OG - Welcome to Cyrus!  Hope mother and baby - and all the rest of the family - are doing well.  So good to hear about new life.

Dau phoned this morn for me to ask details of Saturday when they have a wedding and I am kid, cat & dog sitting pm & evening. I find it much easier in their own home, own bed, own toys & books, even if I have to drive home at midnight. Whatever OH didn’t eat from the freezer last weekend, is his DIY dinner!

I have been out to library for my “fix” of reading matter, leaving OH undecided whether he was out for lunch. I bet he wishes he had gone out! One phone call asking if he wanted to talk about god. Then 2 men at the door wanting to talk about today’s problems. I told him he should have invited them to quit talking and start acting – to solve our weeding problem.

Lovely sunny day (we had 29 C on Monday). Much nicer 23 expected today. My back has recovered, after lunch a short attack on weeds planned.

Good Morning, All.  Annette - Terrible stories this morning of the bad storm to hit your shores, the damage is worse than expected apparently. Hope there are no lives lost. At least it's gone off elsewhere, and weakened, now.

AQ - Cute alert!!  - They're all gorgeous. Hope that your long duty is uneventful and they all go to bed without protest! Glad your back has recovered.

A bit grey here, and rain predicted later, also a lot of rain tomorrow - we were thinking of going to Wales soon but are wondering now, which day to go.
