Hi everyone, I've not been in much to the site today, on and off. It was thought that the youngest had fledged but this is in doubt and until it is confirmed by The Team we can assume that it hasn't yet.
There have certainly been some near takeoffs and helped by the wind, the youngest has jumped and "flown" across the nest but this is all. It has been the eldest getting bolder and the middle one taking on more flights. There's time yet.
Peaceful scene here with two young on the nest and the eldest probably on the cam post or way to the left at the edge,, don't really know where he is.
Happy viewing and we'll see what to day brings. Over to the night shift.

Realised just now that that wind has at last died down now, and its very peaceful. The two siblings are sitting and standing together companionably on the nest & I expect that the other one is nearby somewhere.
I'm off now so bid you Goodnight.

--- As I hit 'post', EJ arrived, alarm calling. The one on the perch jumped down and joined in right away. #3 has got down low in the nest as usual. ---- they are all shouting now, its deafening!
--EJ has flown off but has stopped calling, so the 'chicks' have stopped, too.
Well, what was that all about - EJ getting the youngsters hopes up and then just bogging off!!!
I thought EJ has spotted Odin with a fish ... but no .... she's gone again ... probably couldn't stand the racket!
'Night Lindy if your turning in
The way she arrived & shouted, I felt it was an intruder alert. (she was mantling, too)
--I am trying to log off!!!
