Hi everyone, I've not been in much to the site today, on and off. It was thought that the youngest had fledged but this is in doubt and until it is confirmed by The Team we can assume that it hasn't yet.
There have certainly been some near takeoffs and helped by the wind, the youngest has jumped and "flown" across the nest but this is all. It has been the eldest getting bolder and the middle one taking on more flights. There's time yet.
Peaceful scene here with two young on the nest and the eldest probably on the cam post or way to the left at the edge,, don't really know where he is.
Happy viewing and we'll see what to day brings. Over to the night shift.

Poor thing! He's trying so hard.
Thanks for the welcome everyone.
EJ really knows how to find the big fish. I had to laugh last night when probably #1 had a fish and no way was he sharing it. Also glad Titch seems to have stuck as the name for #3 though I can't tell them apart now!
I must away and sort dinner ... no doubt something will happen in my absence ... but somebody will keep me informed!

Oh and I've just tried the click on latest post and it works - what a time saver - thanks!
You're welcome, Trish - and don't worry about ID for the 'chicks' - we are all struggling with that since Titch grew as big as the others!

I hope so, Daisy Ray. It was so large it was almost comical!
I've been going over video of juvs and have come to the conclusion, like some of you, that #3 hasn't fledged yet. Close!!
That fish was a huge one and alive! Sadly i'd just closed my recording. Not sure I'd know how to post it, any way. Need lessons from BigRab74.
It's quite exhausting running between St. Andrews and Loch Garten !!!! (always good to see a new name at the top of the leader board)!
The mind is like a parachute, it doesn't work if it's not open.
Agree with you there about the golf, quietwoman.
Its late already for the Teatime Fish List:
EJ brought the 1st whopper of the day at 6.15am approx. Followed by two from Odin at 9.17ish, and 14.11pm. Now we have had another whopper from EJ at 5.30pm -
Total number of fish for today, so far: 4 Fish!
Thanks, Lindybird. It's so helpful when you post details like this.

I'm still amazed that she could fly in with it as it was obviously still struggling to get away.
I returned about 6 to see EJ feeding youngsters from her whopper, then she was eating it herself with two youngsters on nest, and now the third one has come back and someone's being fed again. Assume all the same fish??
