Hi everyone, I've not been in much to the site today, on and off. It was thought that the youngest had fledged but this is in doubt and until it is confirmed by The Team we can assume that it hasn't yet.
There have certainly been some near takeoffs and helped by the wind, the youngest has jumped and "flown" across the nest but this is all. It has been the eldest getting bolder and the middle one taking on more flights. There's time yet.
Peaceful scene here with two young on the nest and the eldest probably on the cam post or way to the left at the edge,, don't really know where he is.
Happy viewing and we'll see what to day brings. Over to the night shift.

Nice pics, Lynette - I'm back online after a break (life has to go on!)
That wind sounds nasty, now - really gusty.
2 GEMs cuddled up on the nest, out of the wind, at present.

All three chicks now on the nest sheltering from the wind. It really is viscious today (sorry can't spell vis...) Sounds like EJ is calling from her perch.
In comes EJ shrieking and mantling and one of the youngsters is joining in.
Will have to go soon and start the bbq as son and his wife are coming for lunch. Will catch up early evening.
What a racket, all the youngsters are calling, EJ has flown off. They watch where she went and have now shut up.
---heard the noise of EJ shouting, but when I came in only 3 GEMs on the nest. Really windy. All gone quiet now.
They look cosy together....
Just looged in again for a short time as doing jobs in the garden. I could hear EJ shrieking but she wasn't on the nest to begin with. The youngsters then laid flat and she joined them but has now gone again. I am taking it that there has only been one fish so far today. In that wind it must be nearly impossible but i have said that before and EJ has come in with a whale. Looks as though Titch has changed its mind about fledging for the moment.
