Hi everyone, I've not been in much to the site today, on and off. It was thought that the youngest had fledged but this is in doubt and until it is confirmed by The Team we can assume that it hasn't yet.
There have certainly been some near takeoffs and helped by the wind, the youngest has jumped and "flown" across the nest but this is all. It has been the eldest getting bolder and the middle one taking on more flights. There's time yet.
Peaceful scene here with two young on the nest and the eldest probably on the cam post or way to the left at the edge,, don't really know where he is.
Happy viewing and we'll see what to day brings. Over to the night shift.

Thought that was a nice pic of them all together, Joan. (perhaps it might help with the ID probs)
Gary - HGAC - gather that's the Hav'nt Got a Clue! Club -- HA HA! v. good...
Also agree that that stick is in the way and surprised that EJ hasn't housekeeped it out to the side, yet.

Very good Linda:)) Yes, I am a fully paid up member! lol It is unlike EJ not to have got rid of that stick but at least the chicks can perch on something while in the nest..
So windy again there today. In fact, just seen they've all gone flat.
HiThanks for the posts and brilliant pics. Ospreytastic as always. :-)I'm claiming full membership of the Lost the Plot Club and the HGAC, in terms of id'ing. All three GEMs where on the nest. Then just as I started to type this part, one flew off. Now all three are back on the nest. That's it! I'm hitting "post" now. LOLPaul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
EJ arrived with a huge branch ... GEMs distinctly unimpressed ... she tried to place it at the left edge .... and I think it fell/blew off!!
DjoanS...I saw that too, EJ didn't quite know what ws happening :o)
Just logged on again inbetween son coming for lunch. Will play catchup in a bit.
See the three are together , l facing outwards, the other two facing cam. Sheltering from the wind.
Just caught up with posts and fantastic pics. At present EJ is on the nest and the three have been shouting , possibly for food. That wind really is strong.

I think I'm with you there Heron, it is all so confusing at times.
Even EJ looks fedup with the wind and she keeps looking outwards, probably to see if Odin is coming.
