Hi everyone, I've not been in much to the site today, on and off. It was thought that the youngest had fledged but this is in doubt and until it is confirmed by The Team we can assume that it hasn't yet.
There have certainly been some near takeoffs and helped by the wind, the youngest has jumped and "flown" across the nest but this is all. It has been the eldest getting bolder and the middle one taking on more flights. There's time yet.
Peaceful scene here with two young on the nest and the eldest probably on the cam post or way to the left at the edge,, don't really know where he is.
Happy viewing and we'll see what to day brings. Over to the night shift.

Brilliant picture, Cirrus! :-)
Thank you Heron . You do as well yourself :)
Morning Brenda - another good pic - many thanks. The STill cam certainly does make quality pics .
Morning Brenda :-) Have a good day. Or if this is a bit too late. Hope you had a good day.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Morning all - thanks for overnight and morning reports. Sounds windy at LG :-( I read that they have all breakfasted on one of EJ's whoppers, so they will probably sleep it off for a while! I MUST do housework this morning .... but will keep an ear on the nest :-))

Well, that’s settled it for me. If Youngest had fledged yesterday it really would have left the nest just then after an extended wingercising and nest jump to EJ’s perch. It really really wants to be ‘up’ there.
Good morning all. Thanks for overnight posts. Good sharp pic, Cirrus. All three on the nest, then #1 leaves, EJ arrives 'empty-handed' and food calling. All three birds, #1 hasn't returned yet, looking 1 o-clock of the nest. Watching Odin eating the head of a fish perhaps.
Sometimes I think I can tell #2 and #3 apart and other times I am confused. I know that primaries and tail feathers are a good indicator, but I think I would need to see all three together with wings and tails spread!!! Not much hope of that. As to sex, I trust Roy Dennis and his 40+ years of experience. Can you get DNA from a feather does anyone know?
The mind is like a parachute, it doesn't work if it's not open.
SERVER ERROR!!! What's all this about? My blog has arrived!
One home alone, then No 2 (?) flew in, both hunkered down, EJ flew in, alarming, Odin flew in with fish. The one that flew in is still sitting.

Odin with fish and and intruder
Timed out, so what I was going to say is out of date now!
Just logged on. Thanks so much for all the kind words about the video, others manage it easier than me so hopefully if I do another one it won't take quite so long. Thanks Annette.
Thanks for the updates and pics. I've been watching and EJ was on the nest and Odin arrived and then intruder alert. It looks like EJ has left one of the youngsters with the fish and it is tackling it, probably the eldest. The other two waiting and hoping for some. EJ stays at the edge of the nest. Wind is back again. you can just see the tail of Odin as he flew off.
