Sunday 1st April
Mrs G returns just after 2pm (time to be confirmed)
Thursday 5th April
On two separate occasions, Rutland-born female, Blue 3J, and Scottish male, Blue HR7, visit the nest. HR7 was seen around Glaslyn last year, Mrs G seems comfortable with him and they later mate.
Later in the evening there is an unringed male osprey on the scene, who looks very much like Aran. When he lands on the Glaslyn nest with the remains of a fish there is no mantling and no attempt to share the fish with Mrs G
[This male is later confirmed to be Aran]

Couldn't tear myself away ;)
What a surprise that KS2 followed KS3 into the skies!
I posted these two belatedly under the fish announcement, so you probably haven't seen them.
Subsequently we've all posted loads.
Gone to 'burling' wheel.
Birdies LG DU update.

I don't think anything significant was missed.
KS2 spent most of the day on 'n off the nest, hoping desperately for a fish (I have to tell you, I had 19 clips but then there was an interruption and they all went black, major rescue operation req'd, triumph of deep breathing and thinking!):
KS3 got her talon caught in one of the fence sticks held firm by strapping (like MrsG did early in the season, IIRC), was OK tho.
No snaps.
Very heavy rain forecast in the southwest, "especially Wales", in the afternoon.
