Sunday 1st April
Mrs G returns just after 2pm (time to be confirmed)
Thursday 5th April
On two separate occasions, Rutland-born female, Blue 3J, and Scottish male, Blue HR7, visit the nest. HR7 was seen around Glaslyn last year, Mrs G seems comfortable with him and they later mate.
Later in the evening there is an unringed male osprey on the scene, who looks very much like Aran. When he lands on the Glaslyn nest with the remains of a fish there is no mantling and no attempt to share the fish with Mrs G
[This male is later confirmed to be Aran]

Well I've seen no rain overnight - the lull before the storm?
It's daycam, and quiet.
IMAGICAT
Good morning MC.
I have no idea where that came from BUT neither BBC nor another reliable site have any indication of such.
Birdies LG DU update.
Where I am we are getting very strong winds, breezy yesterday but through the night I say escalated to gale force, no rain though. :-(
Good morning, MARY, glad to see you back :)
No-one seen on the nest yet, and I have to be off... the cam just went into its black-screen phase, a manual refresh brought up the traditional daytime view including perch.
See y'all later! xxx
Good Morning SCYLLA MARY and MIKE
Hope it isn't going to be the start of bad weather if the chicks, Aran and other ospreys are still to leave
The weather is good down here on the South Coast. If they leave they will be flying into some good weather
Richard B
That's good to know Thanks Richard
KS3 arrived around 8.20 and shortly after Aran arrived with breakfast
Valerie
KS 3 now on the nest with a fish.
KS3 flew from the nest with the fish around 8.50 , hopefully her butter talons didn't drop it
