Sunday 1st April
Mrs G returns just after 2pm (time to be confirmed)
Thursday 5th April
On two separate occasions, Rutland-born female, Blue 3J, and Scottish male, Blue HR7, visit the nest. HR7 was seen around Glaslyn last year, Mrs G seems comfortable with him and they later mate.
Later in the evening there is an unringed male osprey on the scene, who looks very much like Aran. When he lands on the Glaslyn nest with the remains of a fish there is no mantling and no attempt to share the fish with Mrs G
[This male is later confirmed to be Aran]

Birdies LG DU update.
Yes, I saw Aran bring it in, much to KS2's excitement. 'Yay, fresh fishy!'
Poor old flounder, still died in vain.
Aran delivers again. KS3 gets the fish leaving KS2 to eat from the Flounder.

A different bird was here earlier
Which one is this? If it wasn't for the feather markings you wouldn't know it was a juvenile, it looks sooo mature

I could not see the darvic.
The morning's events up to KS2 and KS3 both having been fed:
Ravens were first on the nest:
KS2 had been making little headway with the flounder, then Dear Aran brought in a fresh, "proper" fish, this is KS2 anticipating, we didn't see Aran land:
Small, headless, as you can see:
She re-tackled the flounder on finishing the small fish:
I just happened to land on this - it marks the arrival of KS3 on the perch:
KS3 got a super fish from Dear Aran ;)
Happy trio ;)
Raven had sat beside juvie for a while then nipped in and pinched a morsel - flew off with it eventually:
Singing and dancing with end of flounder:
