Hallo all! Have a happy week and don't forget to check last week's thread for any late-breaking developments! :-))
Thanks Annette for another week.
A very quiet day here. A smidgeon warmer than yesterday.
Overcast, wild and windy - reminds me of winter!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
to
Diane AND Gillian!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Good Morning, and thanks to Annette for starting us off once again.
Wild windy and wet here, in the night, but warmer this morning and hopefully drying up.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! - to Gillian and Diane!!
Hope you both have an enjoyable day.
ANNETTE - thanks for starting us off!
AQ - what a useful word for rhyming with pigeon! Never knew how to spell it!
FB - hope it's not too windy for your Sunday lunch!
Nice photo, LINDA.
Not going to mention weather so far - just tired of it - so dark. Not accompanying OH to church - can't persuade myself to make the effort! Feel like it's essential journeys only for me until next May - gonna be a long winter!
Sorry it's so grim, there, OG. :-(
Just off for a walk on the beach, then out for lunch.
"I can't be bothered even a smidgen
To be very cross with the dratted pigeon
Who keeps on blotting my garden chairs
With his calling cards
But I wish he'd budge on!"
Lovely little rhyme, LINDA! Have a good day!
Morning all: It's smidgin (but it still rhymes with pigeon) :-)
Diane: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! (I'm shouting coz she's not at home but in faraway Indianapolis and may not have internet access).
Off to see what the day has in store.....
I was shouting to Diane, too, but it's the thought that counts! I hope she's enjoying having a change of scene.
Dry here, so we were able to go for our walk, and then had a nice lunch: carvery with lots of veg for my OH and home made quiche with Welsh cheddar and leeks, with salad, for me. Wandered around the shop and bought some more allium bulbs, we should have a good show next year when I've planted all the ones I've got lately!
Spoke to some other residents here: we met our brand new neighbours yesterday, who arrived and then were given the keys in the morning. They only stayed one night and then left, but we expect to see them again soon. They bought the caravan on a whim, a week ago, having seen a notice on the road about the existence of the park. A nice couple, we thought - roughly our age group.
