OFF-SEASON OBS, LOCH GARTEN NEST, 07 August 2018 ~ March 2019

Chaffinches* have been much more prevalent lately, KORKY, along with the Siskins. No Cresties seen for weeks :o

*But usually only one at a time.

Yesterday, I observed Hawfinches on the feeder . Wonderful

Wow!  I wonder if I've still got the footage, or was I very late starting it off?  Mists of time and all that.

Yesterday (Tuesday) two Chaffinches showed up together!

I can't find Hawfinches in Monday's footage but I did start it late :(

I can't say any time, but the birds were very late this morning, it was squirrel after squirrel after squirrel!

This was the first:

Great Tits predominated so I did an FF, just for the hell of it ;)  It's a bit samey, lol ;-D

Morning everyone,

I hope you've all had a good winter (but it's not over yet!) and are raring to go for an other season (I can just tell you are!)

Just to say that the cameras are up, but there are still one or two tweaks to be made. Needless to say we'll have them live as soon as we can.

Hold on to your seats! We all know it's going to be another bumpy ride :-/

The feeder stream went down this morning and when I got it back up it was 4:3. I've emailed Peter Carnyx about it.

This morning's been very dull and probably rainy, so no pics. The very first bird was a Chaffinch! It had a good feed and left, then returned half an hour later with no intervening birds whatsoever :o

Then GSW, then Blue Tit, which was more prominent than usual, then the other tits and at last a squirrel or two.
