I agree Mike!!
scylla that old movie was great to watch. A good trip down osprey-memory lane, some fascinating facts if I knew, I'd forgotten and, at 13 or so minutes in, the closest I've ever got to an osprey's bottom. Back in 1979 they didn't have half the camera techniques and wizardries of nowadays but it was a great film nonetheless

Cracking Scylla, I am going to watch the video some time, not now, had a really busy day and going to have a cuppa and bed.

Yes, as discussed MIKE, I had to start in the space at the end of the link and work backwards to highlight only the link :)

Have I killed the thread?
Ha ha! No, I'm still alive but been out all day so no posts sorry. And in any case, perhaps we're fed up with cresties, red squirrels, woodpeckers and assorted other birds now you've whetted our appetite for the ospreys with that video link scylla.
Scylla you do crack me up! Have been out all day as well, denstist this am and then at sisters as she had a big birthday, we had a family takeaway so not long home. Bet it was windy at LG today.

There is a new blog from Fergus (Chris's replacement). I am sure someone will be able to provide a better looking link than the one I have shown below. Ian

Thank you Ian. That is good news. Fergus is a real character and was much missed when he left on his travels.
Birdies LG DU update.
What a brilliant find Scylla, have saved the film to watch later, but did watch the Cresties. Miss Marple was never in it.
I still don't like this new system, even though I think I know what is what, I am not keen on it, hence my absence.
