EDIT
Late in the day I changed the title of this thread from "DU" to "Off-Season Obs" ~ anyone is welcome to suggest a better title than the current one :)

No osprey presence yesterday, but in the evening a visit from an osprey nemesis ;)
.
TIGER has reminded us that we mustn't jump the gun when our ospreys don't appear on-cam, or even at the Centre, for a day or two, so we wait...
IMAGICAT
It is working now in night mode. I suspect that the weather conditions in Scotland are having an adverse effect on the signal. Something, regrettably, little can be done about. The system will default to low resolution but even then if the satellite is obstructed by weather conditions it will drop out.
Birdies LG DU update.
Lovely shot of 'Woody'.
trying out a snap under the new rules. Get your magnifying glass out. I posted this at the default size that comes up. Looks like I should screen shot a bigger area

Ok. here's a duplicate shot of Mike's woodpecker. We must have been watching at the same time!
First box 550, 2nd blank thanks Alan. But now too big, so tried 450, blank. still a bit big
Just had a major crestie time. The light isn't great so he looks like a blue tit but he wasn't, honest
We believe you Korky….'course we do!!
All I did was select an area from the screen as normal but now I'm going to try some of this sizing you clever people are experimenting with.
This was 550 x 240??
Just trying to insert a screen shot image. I took this last summer and have simply inserted it here as a trial.
It was a full page shot and all I did was insert image, no editing or cropping.
If you click on the image it comes up full page size.
This all seems to work same as before the upgrade now.
