Hope everyone has a good week.
Oh, TeeJay, that's a glorious photo! What an incredible face. Such an interesting picture. Thank you for sharing it. My garden is nearly all wild, too. I seem to let more of it go wild every year.
TeeJay: I looked at your photostream on Flickr. Your photos are very good! A lovely selection of birds and other wildlife.
Pat O: I used to have lots of rabbits on my patch, but R.T. Hawk and his mate have really caused a decline in the bunny population. I think the coyotes have dined on them, too.
TeeJay gets red kites in his garden as well.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Nice to see you, Clare. I saw TeeJay's photos of the red kites on his Flickr stream. Beautiful birds.
Lynette: Wow - that must've been quite a surprise about your friend. Do you have any idea when she made the change? I was wondering if that was the reason you lost contact.
TeeJay: Fab shot of your fox. Do you see much wildlife in your garden and was your camera just handy or were you waiting for something to show up?
Very frustrating day here; square wheels everywhere I went! Grrrr. Still tomorrow's another day...
Take care all.
Good Morning. Sunny here again. Very warm last night. When will this end? We'll certainly be talking about this summer in years to come.
TeeJay - Thanks for posting your fantastic picture. Gorgeous.
I've been busy so not had time to post much. Hoping to put on some pics today.
Good morning! Wishing ANNETTE a less frustrating day!
Another hot night (as LINDA says) but cooler and wet here this morning. So I don't have to feel bad about OH cleaning rather than attending to the front lawn.
Not much planned today. BBL
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Came back after making a handful of birthday cards, but nobody has been on! Everyone having a busy day? Hope all are well. Thinking especially of George, Heather and ForestBoar.
Sorry, OG! You have been answering your own post !!
All OK here, only just recovering from the visitation last week. I was totally exhausted - mentally and physically. Pains everywhere, back, chest, knees, head! I am my own worst enemy - my dear old Mum used to say that I lived on nervous energy and I can't disagree with her :-)
I read here every day but am not going to attempt a catch up - would get it all wrong. However, have enjoyed reading all your news, everyone.
The garden has been neglected, weeds are showing their faces again but not doing anything in the garden today. Was up at the hospital this morning, regarding my hands - first option, surgery, I had to discard as I live alone and can't have one hand out of action for weeks. So will go for less invasive treatment - waiting list about six months. Consultant looked very young! In my day they were always quite - ahem - mature.
