What an empty day, apart from EJ's voice in the early morning :(

Maybe it is just the light making it look like something is wrong with the cam.
I have lightened it up by only two notches, and it looks OK :-) a bit greener than normal LOL
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
It looks very negative and somehow it doesn’t look right.
Regards,
Ian.
I agree Thomo. Lorna has been keeping an eye on the Forum today (for which many thanks, once more!), and commenting, so I hope she can see there may be a problem.

It's been a funny light over here in Huntly too so it may not be just the camera. Looks like EJ may have departed then? Hope she has better luck next year with eggs and partners and fish...
Thanks for your thoughts Ed. It sounds as tho it is a natural phenomenon, and how pretty, but dramatic it looked too!
The cam is now back on the Love Tree - thank you Lorna. Fingers crossed that we see EJ with a fish in the early hours, otherwise I fear she may have left.
She was last positively IDd on 2 August with some lovely pics of her both on the Love Tree and on the nest. But I will give her a couple of days to surprise us!
It was when the PTZ was on the move that the colour went "strange":
So it looks as though there is a fault with the camera, as I suspected and still do right now.
Hi again all, thanks so much Lorna for looking for EJ today. She may appear sometime soon, but I have a feeling that our dear EJ has flown, is GJ in tow! We will soon know in a few days.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Suddenly realised I had not spotted EJ on my iPad for a while and thought I'd better check in to see what the news was.
Sorry I've not been more active on the forum but trying to get my kitchen renovated (first time in nearly 35 years!) has proved very stressful (currently stuck on Landlord's Consent)...
Looked back to find my last screen shot of EJ - found this from 31st July. Just had a feeling I should take it while she was still here with us. I do hope she hasn't set off yet but given the cloudy weather in Scotland, she has no way of knowing of the high temperatures on the route to Africa - just hope the heat here in the south east may make her pause if she is on her way.
EJ on 31st July
