While it is sad to consider that EJ did not raise chicks this season after the disappearance/demise of our beloved Odin last Spring, we must admit that EJ has proven herself as a survivor in life, life that offers opportunities in the wake of disaster if we can move forward to take them. And in that way, I must say that observing osprey (and nature in general) continues to be personal education. EJ is indeed a wise osprey as due her years... which only contributes further to her beauty in my eyes. Here is yesterday's super-sighting, captured by scylla.

I'll bring this forward, as 25MAC (thank you!) got BOPS'd:
EDIT - I've 'enhanced' it, just in case people haven't got time to read all the words ;-D

PATILY - I occasionally have to sign in "out of the blue".
I was looking for a small bird who was cheeping but the nest was empty - but I brightened it to show up the greenery on some of the branches, nice to see :) This nest is usually the best because it has greenery, including the grasses.
