While it is sad to consider that EJ did not raise chicks this season after the disappearance/demise of our beloved Odin last Spring, we must admit that EJ has proven herself as a survivor in life, life that offers opportunities in the wake of disaster if we can move forward to take them. And in that way, I must say that observing osprey (and nature in general) continues to be personal education. EJ is indeed a wise osprey as due her years... which only contributes further to her beauty in my eyes. Here is yesterday's super-sighting, captured by scylla.

Hi Patily. Usually because there has been some work done on the site.
Avimore update.
Fùll moon and now good light, 4 osprey have fished already and it's only 5.13am... update ...... 5.50am and 7 ospreys so far, and 2 others chasing around the pond right now with a good few false dives and hit and misses.
