While it is sad to consider that EJ did not raise chicks this season after the disappearance/demise of our beloved Odin last Spring, we must admit that EJ has proven herself as a survivor in life, life that offers opportunities in the wake of disaster if we can move forward to take them. And in that way, I must say that observing osprey (and nature in general) continues to be personal education. EJ is indeed a wise osprey as due her years... which only contributes further to her beauty in my eyes. Here is yesterday's super-sighting, captured by scylla.

Good morning and thank you once again, CC :-*
It's getting light!
IMAGICAT
EJ to campost!
I told you they were clairvoyant ;)
Flown!
And she's back! Mantling on the nest... and GJ has landed, also mantling - I think someone else is around.
GJ just flew.
EJ flies to campost, flaps gently, flies off. Behaving as if someone else is around:
DAYCAM 04:45hr:
EJ is doing a lot of slow flapping.
EJ has flown.
The cam is at a very fuzzy stage, unfortunately :(
