TWO skydances yesterday *wow* - one at daybreak and another in the evening, the latter being a fish-bearing one, but EJ spurned it. (That is, if a dead fish can be spurned ;) )
Strange, as we didn't see EJ eating all day yesterday :-/
I'm saying it was a fish rather than a stick because it did wobble on the way in, but we hardly saw it.
NB ~ TIGER has pointed out that Cromarty PP7 would not make a good partner for EJ as he is "the most tardy of ospreys".
Goodnight chaps, it's very unlikely I'll be here for the BC gathering.
IMAGICAT
Good morning, all! I've been around but doing various things...
Thank you for fetching up snaps, PATILY! Thank you for the AO report, VALERIE - even tho EJ dropped a fish, which I don't like to see even if it doesn't matter ;)
Thank you for suggesting the enquiry, KORKY, you'd need to get the experts in for that.
DAYCAM 03:55hr:
I am looking for EJ's first appearance, it should be around the time that GJ started skydancing, which was 04:04:20-ish... but she didn't land on the nest at that time, tho I think I can hear her faint chirps amid the skydance :-/
=============
GJ's skydance - sound enhanced - can you hear EJ quietly chirping?
Big strides to the back :)
But later:
.
Empty nest thereafter.

Still no change.
14.02 Roaming cam has kicked in and EJ is.... on the Love Tree perch!

Afternoon Sheila
Hello Limpy - that's odd, I posted my response just after you posted, but something's gone wrong!
EJ is still in the Love Tree, preening occasionally, looking around, occasionally.
The cam has zoomed in a bit, and EJ is being blown somewhat by the wind, or the camera is bouncing instead, or a mixture of both!
still focused on the flat tree and looks really windy there.

Really sounds as though its blowing a gale. EJ still on the tree.
