Annette - Laughed at the story of Billy the billygoat!
We had a cloudy, cooler day after the initial showers. I was able to go shopping without my coat. Then at teatime, my OH took Bonnie for her walk and whilst they were gone, the heavens opened! Return of a damp husband and a drowned looking dog!
Lindy: I hope you can find the strength to support your friend, I am well aware of the physical and mental problems that go with it. For info, I have temporarily had cancer of the stomach and stomach ulcers ruled out. Now awaiting ultrasound scan sometime to see if it is my gall bladder creating problems. Younger SD is being an angel at the moment! this is partly why I have been quiet on here.
Thank you, FB. I hope you can find out what ails you. My Friend has already had her gall bladder out, and other bits of her body, besides. We call her "The Bionic Woman".
The tennis is going on for a very long time.....
Bemused by pics of the pageantry at Blenheim. As for the couple holding hands!!!

Good Morning, All. Sunshine again here after actually having 'proper rain' yesterday.
Quite large demonstrations in London yesterday, objecting to Trumps visit. Don't suppose he's that bothered by it all, though.
AQ - He seems to grab Teresa's hand at any opportunity. I'd love to know what was going through his head when he met H. Majesty yesterday: she always looks so tiny next to tall visiting dignitaries!
Warm here today but a bit of a wind blowing - rose petals and Philadelphus petals everywhere again! I do love roses but when they are planted without any ground cover plants, things get messy quickly! Of course, if I dead headed every day twice a day things would be tidier. Mea culpa.
Quiet on here today. I'm watching the tennis and keeping out of the heat.
