This photo of EJ by Charlie Davidson after fishing unsuccessfully at Aviemore is beautifully backlit. However, for most of the rest of the day she was seen on the PTZ munching on her sizeable fish, perhaps from Rothiemurchus. (framing by scylla)
At the moment, the nest is b+w and empty, no surprise. No moon and no moths. :-D

See how sprightly she is!

She flew off from the side, silently:

I can't see if she's got a fish:
I'm off to the kitchen for a while. EJ is still in situ, mainly with her back to us and her little head hunched back in her shoulders, looking relaxed.
EJ just flew - I didn't hear anything.
Cam is looking for EJ, not on nest, not in any trees...
Leaving the earlier perch:
On the new perch:
Preening.
EJ is on the nest alarm alling, looking alert but not mantling...
She just moved a big stick - did she bring that?
EJ flies from tree and moves big stick on nest:
This is where she still is.

She's turned around and wasn't sure what to do next - ended up flying off.
