Heather I hope your son in law will recover OK once he's treated on dry land.
Oh LINDY - that is what I think a lot of us feared. I'm so so sorry xx
Had an excellent lunch and reasonably quick shopping trip – didn’t really merit lunch out, but any excuse …!
Annette – one day I really will sort some photos and include the horses!
Heather – sorry your Nephew is causing angst yet again. I am sure your S-i-L will get full investigation – won’t give more detail!
Linda – so sorry about your Friend, but not surprised from the symptoms you have described! Sorry she has to wait another week for a treatment plan, but hope The Christie will soon get things under way.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
LINDY So very sorry to hear the news of your friend.
HEATHER Hope your SiL gets better soon.
Thanks, DIBNLIB and all. SiL's dad will drive to Aberdeen tomorrow and meet the helicopter and take him to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, as his firm have requested. My eldest daughter is going to Elgin as planned tomorrow and will probably bring the two girls here to me for a couple of days, in case of bad infection. I'm quite delighted to be having them as you can imagine!
Despite the circumstances, HEATHER, I am sure you and the Elgin girls will enjoy your time together. I am glad their father was off shore in the UK when he took ill, rather than it happening when he was based in Texas!
Agree, OG! Will wait and see what tomorrow brings. My daughter is very anxious but I'm pretty convinced that with sudden onset, no previous symptoms, gastroenteritis or similar is likely.

Oh, dear God, yes. You're quite right, OG.Heather: I wish your son-in-law a rapid and complete recovery from whatever is ailing him.
Lindy: I'm so very sorry about your friend's diagnosis.
Thank you, DIANE. Hope that you are coping with the heat and still enjoying the World Service! I like the 'Outlook' programme but often miss it because my usual sleeping time is 3am to 6am :-) It comes on here at 4am BST!!Of course, I could listen to it online if I was really desperate...Like you, I have the radio on all night.
