Fortunately with the PTZ cam, we know that EJ's favored place off the nest this year is the Fish Perch, where she is maybe eating her breakfish or just preening and monitoring the nest. (I couldn't decide which of Moffer's pics I liked better so now I have overdone it. I know you will all forgive me!)
However, she must not have been around later cos the pine marten came around hoping for another egg bonanza, but he had already taken them all and no more had automagically appeared. We wondered where EJ must have been, or even GJ. Here's scylla's richly colored pine marten shot.
It is currently raining on a dark nest.

Hi SCYLLA and 2MAC
Morning everyone, it must be magical to be in a hide, with all this action, at the best part of the day.
Thank you, 25mac :)
An osprey with a white ring who's not EJ ???

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

I can hear EJ alarm calling. Screeching and chirping, distantly.
